Much of my second day in Washington DC was spent at Camp Casey. I would listen to parents of boys killed in Iraq and Afghanistan talk about their child’s story and how it has affected them and their families. Cindy Sheehan was there most of the day. Many of the people that came to see her had very similar stories or fears of having the same thing happen to their child that was now fighting in Iraq. Everyone wanted to touch and hug her. She was very affectionate and it seemed every time I saw her she was hugging another person that had come to talk to her. Please click on photo to view larger version.

Wonderful to know that during so many dark hours for so many people , that there is someone willing to reach out and help comfort them

I wish I was there. My mom does, too.

I don't think I've ever told you this, but I really like your last name. Is that weird?
