There were many political types at the United for Peace and Justice Anti-War protest & march in Washington DC on September 24th 2005. Although I took photos of many of them, after doing research Congresswoman Maxine Waters stood out and seems to really be taking the forefront is opposing the war and supporting Cindy Sheehan. I dislike most political people but I did like what I heard from her. If you are interested in knowing more about Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Google or give her a call ;) Please click photo for larger version.

you know, i only recently began contacting my senators and i've found that there is always someone to pick up the phone in their offices immediately. it's strange ... i almost feel like they care :)

Ayup.

The objection is in writing, and I don't care that it isn't signed by a member of the Senate.

It was hot -- totally righteous anger.

Not knowing many of the individual names of politicians within America, I can't really comment on her contribution , but the pics speaks volumes in her obvious support and a very important isssue
